Bigscreen has revealed that the long-awaited Audio Strap for their Beyond PC VR headset with thin form factor will finally ship starting next month.
The initial expectation was that the Bigscreen Beyond would be delivered in late 2023, with the company promising that an audio headband would soon follow. Last December, the company stated that delivery would begin in March 2024.
Bigscreen reports that after several production setbacks, quality testing of the first batches of mass production will begin in early August, and international delivery will begin in mid-August.

In its most recent production update, the company stated: "We can produce and ship Audio Straps for all orders received to date by early October, based on current pre-order volumes."
The strap, which costs $130 and is sold directly from Bigscreen, includes on-ear headphones that the company claims are "offers high-end audio and powerful bass" adding that Koss made the speakers.
