An intriguing new crowdfunded AI masturbator is expected to be "transforming intimate experiences", according to two stout brothers who are venture capitalists. It seems more like the two are unashamedly claiming that men will no longer need women for sex and intimacy because of their upcoming "Orifice AI" gadget.
To provide real-time response, the "immersive" male sex toy will combine haptics, depth sensors and artificial intelligence. It is also compatible with live cam girls. The Orifice AI promises both a personalized, lifelike AI partner and the ability to enjoy the experience in virtual reality, but of course there are already quite a few male masturbators that exhibit similar behavior.
However, the marketing of the Orifice AI makes it stand out considerably. The Mitchell brothers welcome the stereotype that men who use masturbators are losers or incels, while the majority of high-quality sex toy companies for men oppose it. And while mainstream media and feminists condemn AI girlfriends on the grounds that they might supplant real relationships, the brothers openly promote them in their YouTube videos and Tweets.
The two people behind the toy are probably hoping their marketing campaign will go viral, especially in the "manosphere," which includes incel forums and sites like 4Chan.org, where there may be many potential buyers.
Ryan Mitchell alludes in one of his tweets to the Black Mirror episode "Joan Is Awful," which explored the issue of excessive deepfake technology. With the Orifice AI, you can "stealing her soul".
As noted earlier, although haptic and interactive sex devices for men are currently widely available, the integration of AI girlfriend technology with these gadgets has been rather slow. The company behind "Virtual Mate," a virtual sex gadget that went viral in late 2022, said shortly thereafter that ChatGPT will be incorporated into their girlfriend avatar. In addition, many adult VR games, including VR-Hot, have been working hard to incorporate AI technology so that virtual girls can converse like real people.
While I am not sure if Orifice AI will live up to the Mitchell brothers' hype, it is at least a step toward a virtual "all-in-one" partner. If it gets there before it is "cancelled," at least.
You can pre-order it now at Orifice.ai. I will definitely write about it here in the near future, and maybe I can even get my hands on one 🙂
